Global Sage has been supporting its clients through its different practices to hire talent to drive their broader initiatives. To help clients with their ever-increasing demand for ESG talent, we are expanding our offers by partnering with Global Green Connect (GGC). This partnership will position us to help clients build a winning Sustainability and ESG team to meet the myriad of challenges they face, from more stringent ESG disclosure requirements, circular economy integration, and supply chain sustainability to brand building and raising finance.

1. Provide advisory services to companies to shape their Human Capital structure for their sustainability strategy and objectives.

2. Help companies define the job scope of different strategic positions in their sustainability / ESG team.

3. Accelerate the process of finding the right talent from our large database of sustainability and ESG professionals in APAC, our complete pool of Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) holders, and our network in the financial services and business sectors.

4. Provide companies with sector-based training for their staff.

5. Provide companies and individuals with CESGA exam preparation courses.

Global Green Connect (GGC) is a sustainability ecosystem that provides sustainability consulting services with the passion for helping businesses put sustainability at the operational core of their business and grow it as an asset.  With its Sustainability Academy, GGC offers sustainability and ESG training programmes in partnership with universities in Singapore, as well as tailor-made training sustainability training programmes for corporations. 

 

GGC also represents internationally recognised ESG professional accreditation, including the Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) certificate by the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS).  GGC is the partner for the CESGA examination in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. 

 

GGC also offers preparatory courses to help candidates prepare for the CESGA examination to get themselves certified in their pursuit of a career in sustainability and ESG. Global Sage is GGC’s partner in this initiative.

Fung Mei is a Partner, Managing Director within Global Sage’s Financial Services Practice, specialising in Insurance and Asset Management . She brings over 25 years of experience in human resources management, talent acquisition, executive recruitment, and talent management. Previously, she worked with Prudential plc as Asia Head of Strategic Resourcing, where she was responsible for executive search and talent assessment for both the insurance and asset management businesses across the region. Prior to that, Fung Mei was with Royal Bank of Scotland as Head of Resourcing, North Asia. She also held senior HR/staffing roles at Agilent Technologies and Motorola. Earlier in her career she worked as a management consultant with PwC. Fung Mei holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Liverpool.

As a Managing Director at Global Sage and the Head of Technology and Industrial Markets, based out of the firm’s Hong Kong office, Kong brings over 25 years of experience in executive search and leadership consulting. He has worked extensively with clients looking to transform, whether a start-up, turn-around, or new market entry, and is both a business partner and a world-class recruiter.

Kong’s expertise lies in recruiting C-level executives and senior management across various functions in the complex emerging market of China. He has a demonstrated track record of building out management teams for Tech start-ups across APAC and Europe. In addition, Kong advises on executive hiring and retention strategy, employer branding, talent mapping, succession planning, and market intelligence. Prior to joining Global Sage, Kong held leadership positions in two other top global executive search firms and led the creation of the Technology practice at Korn Ferry.

Louisa has more than 30 years of recruiting experience, specializing in CEO searches particularly in the sectors of Finance, Consumer and Manufacturing. She was recognized with the prestigious Hall of Fame Award from Recruitment International in 2014, and cited by BusinessWeek as one of the “50 Most Influential Search Consultants in the World” in 2008. Her views on important HR trends are widely recognized. She has written numerous opinion articles for and granted interviews to journalists from international media such as BBC Radio, Fortune magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Time magazine, Bloomberg, CNBC, and Cable TV. She is also a bestselling author of a memoir.  A passionate philanthropist at heart, Louisa created Giving Hand in 2008, a non-profit organization with a focus on facilitating corporate giving.
